If you are seeing this page, it means you have already completed part 1 of the Pronto Beauty audition. It is mandatory that you complete both part 1 and part 2 in order to be considered for the show.
Pronto Beauty is a brand new show, which will be airing on Netflix 2025. The show will have Makeup artists, Hairstylists, Brow/Micro blading specialists, Lash technicians, and Nail Technicians compete within their categories. The game show will consist of a series of contests, where all contestants will be given an unfair amount of time to complete certain tasks. The idea of the game is to see who can get the most done in the least amount of time. Atleast 1 person per episode will be eliminated from each category There will be a total of 5 winners (1 winner per category), and each winner will receive a cash prize of $50,000 at the end of the season. If you are part of different categories, for example if you do nails, hair and makeup, it is advised you apply to audition for all categories that pertain to you. This will significantly increase your chance of being selected for the show. If you are doing 2 categories, it is 100 posts, If you are doing 3 categories then it is 150 posts and so on.
INSTRUCTIONS:
All categories [Makeup artists, Hairstylists, Lash Techs, Brow/Microblading Techs, Nail Techs] will be classified as "Beauty Guru" throughout the remainder of the instructions.
1. All Beauty Gurus must complete 50 different looks on both instagram and tiktok per category. It is advised that you do a variety of looks in order to receive the best results or feedback. Here are examples per each category:
- Makeup Artists- beauty makeup, halloween makeup, natural look, 50 makeup posts, makeup brand comparisons
- Hairstylists- Wigs, Weave, braids, dreadlocks, ponytails, natural hair, hair dying, hair cutting, hair removal, 50 hair posts
- Lash Techs- Lash extensions of various length and thickness , bottom lashes, colored lashes, lash removal, 50 lash posts
- Brow Techs- Waxing, Plucking, Threading, Brow tinting, Brow shaping, Microblading, 50 posts related to brows
- Nail Techs- Coffin, stiletto, Round, Square Round, Square, Oval, Short, XL, GelX, Acryllic, Designs, Ombre, 50 nail posts
The above listed looks are just examples, you do not need to do everything listed, but the more variety, the better. Variety lets the judges and voters know your capacity of what you are able to do. If you are auditioning for multiple categories, it is 20 videos per each category you audition for, using the same exact song, which brings us to the next bit of essential information on the following line.
2. All Beauty Gurus auditioning will receive a special LOT # few days before the deadline and also be paired up with one of the 32 songs being used for the purpose of this audition. For the 50 videos posted on instagram and for the same 50 videos posted on tiktok (Yes, it must be the same 50 videos on both platforms) it is mandatory that for each upload, you use the song selected for you out of the 32 songs on our song list. This will also make it easier for the judges to immediately locate your video when needed. It is also mandatory that 2 out of the 50 reels or photos should actually be regular post showing a "before and after" of your work. You must use the same hashtags and song for those 2 posts as well. Most of the posts need to be reels, but uploading a few photos as part of the audition, but the same song you are given must be used on the picture posts as well.
3. You will be chosen based on your LOT #. Because there are so many groups and only 32 songs, several groups will be given the same song that must be used for all 50 videos/posts on both instagram and tiktok, but there are also a list of specific hashtags. We encourage all Beauty Gurus to also add in a couple extra hashtags of their own, but there will be a list of hashtags that are mandatory.The list will be individually sent based on LOT #. Not using the mandatory hashtags will get you disqualified.
4. All 20 videos on both instagram and tiktok must be a Reel. These can be old or brand new videos or videos of photos as a reel. Yes, you can use photos for your reels. Atleast 35 of the 50 posts need to be actual videos of you actively showing your skills and the other 15 can be screenhots or photos as a reel. If you choose to only repost old content and do not post any brand new content, that is fine, but keep in mind that it is in your best interest to post atleast a few brand new videos towards the 50 videos. Reels are fairly simple to create. You login, click on the plus sign, scroll to reel and upload your video. Select Audio and search for the artist and song that has been chosen for you. Remember, each person will individually be given a specific song for the reels and the LOT # will be given few days prior to the deadline.
5. Each person auditioning will have 30 days to post all 50 posts. If you are doing 2 categories, you will have 30 days to post 100 reels/photos, and if you are doing 3 categories, you will have 30 days to post 150 reels/photos. We advise that you post no more than 4 posts per day towards the audition. Anyone auditioning in 3 or more categories will have a separate set of instructions on how to post within the 30 day audition period.
