There are 4 Clothing Haul contests per year. There is one for each season. The Clothing Haul contests allows men and women to showcase their style of fashion. If you shop at stores such as, but not limited to Fashionova, Zara, Express, PrettyLittleThing, Boohoo, Misguided, Forever21, H&M, and many more, you would be a great fit for this contest.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- You must put together 2 different outfits for the contest. One outfit must be casual and the other must be more formal or dressy.
- The outfit can be one of the brands listed above or another very well-known name brand. If you are not using a well-known name brand, then the outfit can also be handmade clothing you created or designed.
- Styling the outfits with accessories is not mandatory, but since the contest is to see who wears their outfit best, accessories (purses, jewelry, shades) help add to an outfit.
- Color-blocking, Neutral colors, Black and white are all safe colors that draw attention of judges, however the colors and style you choose should also be based on what season the contest is for.
Fore Example: If you are applying for the Winter Clothing Haul, then the color schemes and outfits need to align with that specific season. This means that even if you put together the most amazing outfit, but the outfit does not match the season, you will not win the contest. It is essential to look at the season you are applying for and stick with that theme.
- You will create 2 videos, and those 2 videos MUST be uploaded to instagram and tiktok.
- Videos of you modeling the casual and dressy attire (2 separate videos) needs to be uploaded 1 day apart from each other or on the same exact day, with the same exact song and hashtags that will be selected for you.
- Although there are 9 songs/9 artists being used for this contest, every model/ Clothing Haul contestant will only be given 1 song out of the 9 songs to use for their 2 videos.
- Both the casual and dressy attire videos should not exceed 60 seconds per each video. Videos that exceed 60 seconds will not be considered.
- The 2 videos must be a REEL. Videos that are not in REEL format on instagram and tiktok will not be considered. The REEL MUST also say the name of the artist, as that helps the judges easily locate your video.
- There will only be 10 winners for a $1,000 cash prize, and winners will be announced on the 1st day of Summer (June 21).
- The deadline to get your 2 videos uploaded to both instagram and tiktok is June 10, but we advise everyone to upload their videos within 2 weeks of applying. Chances are that if you do not upload your videos within 2 weeks of applying, you will forget to do so and the deadline will most likely pass. Judges will also be looking to see when you applied in correlation to when you eventually uploaded your videos.
